BLOG NUMBER 2: 5th September 2025

Well, it's been a busy week I have to admit. Since The Book of Mook came out. I have shifted a few copies, but I knew it wouldn't set the world on fire  as Mark always told me it would. But I also know that these things take time. To have any chance at being successful as a self-published author, you need to continue building the brand and the world, so I am told. 

Fortunately, Mark left me with many more tales, some slightly sketched out from snatches of visions he confided in me before they faded away, some much more solid which I have already dictated from him in quite good detail. 

Therefore, my next plan, while writing the second book in the mookey saga, is to touch on one of the minor characters from The Book of Mook, in the form of a novella.

To that effort, I have begun work on 'The Legend of Zuluzog', who you may recall, was one of Zingle's soldiers and was involved in the great war. But what of his demise and his life before that tragic battle? All will be revealed in an exciting story which I plan to release as a free eBook later this year. The book will also, as in The Book of Mook, be juxtaposed with a real-life story set at the time I first came up with the idea of telling this tale. 

This novella can also act as a jumping on point for those who didn't read The Book of Mook. But for those who have, it will answer a few questions in the saga and perhaps hint at more to come.
