BLOG NUMBER 10: 24th August 2026
Time for another blog methinks and this time, I come bearing some unfortunate delays.
Although I had planned on getting The Book of Mook audiobook done by now, it is still in editing. I feel it needs a little more time in the oven before mastering. But hopefully that will be completed in the next few weeks and sent to Audible, where, providing it passes all their checks, will be available a few more weeks after that.
As for the second book of mook, The Book of Fiffle, I am still plugging away at it a couple of hundred pages in... and am very happy with it so far. I have been working on some other non-mookey projects which has delayed it somewhat, but I cannot force its progress. As Mark once said 'when the time is ripe, the fruit will be the tastiest' and I wish you to have the sweetest, yummiest, juiciest of fruits I can muster.
As always, thank you for staying on this journey with me. I don't expect to be some kind of best selling author through all this, but I really want to get the entirety of Mark's story out there into the world, as if there is anyone who ever deserved to have their mutterings made manifest for all to experience, it is him. In my time on this world, I have never and am pretty sure, will never, meet anyone else who lived and breathed their dreams (or recieved messages) so fully as Mark did; every minute direction of his life being dictated by them, back when I knew him. But his breaths were always measured, never forced. He drifted on the river of life and let it take him where it would. If there is one thing which I learned from him, it is that simple 'enjoy every moment' mentality which resonated from him... and now does in me, to a somewhat lesser extent. But in a roundabout way, there is my excuse for all these delays!
Thanks for being patient and will be in touch soon,
Philip Wyatt
